Robel Efrem
Robel Efrem is a 33 year old entrepreneur from Stockholm, Sweden. He started his journey at Stockholm University where he studied computer science. Over the last decade Robel founded two companies, is a three-time nominee for ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year,’ and after a successful exit from his first company co-founded Challengermode in 2014 where he is currently the CEO. Challengermode is working on the mission of making esports truly accessible by providing a platform that offers online esports infrastructure to all the key stakeholders in the esports industry, including organizers, players and game developers. The company has to date raised a total of 20M dollars from several prominent Swedish and international investors like the Alibaba group, GP Bullhound, Telia ventures, Back in Black Capital and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Challengermode is an esports platform where gamers meet to compete and socialize around the biggest computer and console games in the world. We're a team of gamers, nerds, techies, athletes, creators and dreamers. It's a team made up of people who are the best at what they do. Some of us have worked at companies like Google, Microsoft and Spotify, others have started and sold companies.
